A Festive Evening of Pottery Making
Take some time for yourself, get creative, and get into the holiday spirit this season with an evening of pottery making at Lynnwood!
Join local artist and instructor Rudi Atkinson for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own hand-built clay Christmas tree. You’ll have several creative examples for inspiration, from simple decorative trees to designs that can hold a tea light, but there’s plenty of room to make yours completely your own.
Rudi will guide you through the process with a demonstration and provide ongoing support throughout the evening, so no previous pottery experience is necessary. As you work, enjoy festive music, warm beverages, and good company while creating a handmade holiday decoration that you can treasure for years to come, or give as a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift.
A Few Things to Know:
Your tree won’t be ready to take home the same evening, but that’s part of the magic! Because clay needs time to dry and be professionally fired, your finished piece will be carefully cured after the workshop and will be ready for pickup within approximately 1–2 weeks. We’ll email you when your tree is ready to come home.
We recommend bringing an apron or wearing clothing you don’t mind getting a little messy. Don’t worry though, the clay and glazes are washable and should come out in the laundry.
