A Merry Night of Holiday Card Painting
Bring a little creativity to your holiday season with a cozy evening of watercolour painting at Lynnwood!
Join local artist and instructor Addi Lemmon for a relaxed, hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own collection of handmade holiday cards. From wintery landscapes and festive ornaments to playful patterns and whatever else inspires you, there are endless ways to make your cards your own.
Addi will share tips and tricks for creating texture, line, and layered colour, along with examples to get your ideas flowing. You’ll have the freedom to work at your own pace, with plenty of time for independent painting and one-on-one support from Addi along the way. Make several cards that share the same design or let every card become something unique.
Depending on how much detail you put into each one, you’ll have the opportunity to create approximately 5–10 cards on high-quality watercolour cardstock. Each card comes with its own envelope, so your finished creations are ready to take home and share with the people on your holiday list.
As you paint, enjoy festive music, warm beverages, and good company in a relaxed holiday atmosphere.
A Few Things to Know:
An apron or clothing that can handle a little mess is recommended, although watercolour is generally washable. Most importantly, come ready to play with paint and enjoy a relaxing evening!
