Artist Statement
My work is non-objective though often based on forms from nature or geometric shapes. Materials used include so-called found objects; heavy wire, glass in various forms, aluminum and other metals. Over the past several years I have landscaped three acres, intentionally a park-like setting to show my works in their inspired setting.
Artist Bio
Jonas graduated from the Ontario College of ART in 1969 where he developed his own unique style working in metals. In addition, he studied stained glass in Ireland in 1975. His works are included in domestic and international collections. He has had numerous shows in Canada and the US.
